lipid - cholesterol and triglycerides
keep colesterol below 200 mg/dL for blood glucose mgmt
LDL (bad) less than 100, HDL triglyceride at 120 or greater-- risk for insulin resistance

hemoglobin A - get this test.. if pre diabetic or type 2  every 3 or 4 months. USE same LAB evertime.
measures glycation levels over last 3 or 4 months
how much glucose has been sticking to yoru red blood cells over last 3 months
4-6% normal or 6.5 - 7 is ok
strive to get below 6 but even below 5%. 5% optimal longevity.

C-reactive protein measures amount of inflamation in your bloodstream.. root cause of cardio problems.
want in the 1mb/dL range or less.

TEST blood glucose levels 3 to 4 times a day.
