Prostate Cancer

The BIG IDEA for prostate cancer that means LESS treatment

We've had the biggest prostate cancer breakthrough in a generation...

But like so many breakthroughs, this one didn't catch on right away.

People were skeptical at first; many didn't trust it -- and that includes doctors and patients alike.

But new research reveals how this powerful option for prostate cancer has FINALLY made its way into the mainstream.

And it's not a new drug, treatment or surgery...

It's NOTHING at all!

Yes, my friend, a once-radical idea has now taken off in a big way.

In a moment, I'll show you how to make "watchful waiting" and "active surveillance" even MORE successful and help ensure your low-risk tumor NEVER needs treatment.

The best cancer "treatment" ...is to ignore it

A tumor isn't like some attention-seeking miscreant. If you ignore it, it probably won't go away.

That said, when it comes to low-risk prostate tumors...it probably won't get any worse, either.

The trut is most men diagnosed with prostate cancer DON'T need treatment -- and the rise in PSA testing and "early diagnosis" in the 1980s and 1990s did a lot more HARM than GOOD.

Men suffered with the lasting side effects of treatments they never needed...

In fact, many are still to this day living with incontinence and impotence as the result of long-ago cancer treatments.

But I'm happy to report that's happening less and less.

The new study finds that rate of treatment for low-risk tumors has PLUNGED... and the number of men opting for NO TREATMENT at all is shooting up in response!

In 2010, 14 percent of men opted for watchful waiting for low-risk tumors; by 2015, that number nearly tripled to 42 percent.

In addition, the rates of:

Radical prostatectomy plunged from 47.4 percent to 31.3 percent

Radiation fell from 38 percent to 26.6 percent

This is, of course, a BIG step in the right direction.

But there's still much more work to be done.

First, while there is no one-size-fits-all option for cancer, it seems the rate of surveillance for low risk tumors should be far higher.

And second, most men who get an "upgraded" tumor still opt for surgery and/or radiation, with more than 90 percent of men with intermediate tumors getting treated.

It's a difficult choice. But it's one you might not have to make -- because there's a way to help ensure that harmless tumors REMAIN harmless.

For example, lycopene -- a natural phytochemical found in tomatoes and watermelon -- can slow the growth of prostate tumors, cut your PSA levels, and slash PSA velocity all at the same time.

God bless,
