What to eat. heavy on healthful proteins and fats

Greatly restricting carbs to jump start way to lower sugar level and less or no medication.

Start with Carb counting

Goal: get your fasting blood sugar level under 100mg/dL in a test at your doctors office.

Choose 20 grams of low glycemic index carbohydrates per day.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN take note of the carbs and fats you have eaten daily the past week... yesterday and today.

each 1-3 grams of carbs for every serving (1/2 cup to cup).

low carb fruits that will work effectively, raspberries, blackberries and cranberries.

NO apples, strawberries, blueberries, papaya, watermelon, cataloupe, oranges, peaches, nectarines, apricots or grapefruit
